Car Show Policies

15th Annual Car Show


Refunds will not be offered for any pre-registered vehicles or attendees unless the show is cancelled by St. John Catholic Church. A discount of $5 will be given to those who pre-register. Pre-registration vehicle entry is $20 while registering day-of will be $25. Pre-registration will open at 12:00 A.M. on March 1, 2024 and close at 11:59 P.M. on Saturday, July 20, 2024.

Entrant Number:

The parking in our show lot is completely open – choose any spot that you wish.  Once you choose your spot, come to the registration area and fill in your registration card and this registration form.  The registration staff member will provide you with your entrant number that will be used for judging AND will be your silent auction bidder number as well.  

Vehicle Information:

It is essential for each participant to fill out the entry form (front side of this paper) and their registration sheet completely and accurately.  The categorization of your vehicle for trophy class is based on the information that you put on these forms.   PLEASE DISPLAY THE ENTRY FORM VISIBLY ON THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR WINDSHIELD – so that the judges can clearly see the information and mark your card once they have judged your vehicle.


Our judges are volunteers and are not compensated for judging at the car show.  All judges are parishioners here at St. Johns.  Judges will be scoring each vehicle based on general cleanliness/neatness/level of detail of the exterior, interior and underhood areas, so please make each area available for judging.   For example, if your hood is closed and the judges cannot see your underhood area, you will be marked down.  Original and modified vehicles will be judged based on the merits of their originality or modifications respectively.  Each judge will give each vehicle a combined score of 0 to 100 points.  The judge’s individual scores are averaged to get an overall score for each vehicle.  Be sure that your car is ready to be judged by 10:00AM, as that is when judging will begin.  Please note that all judged scores are final.  


Each entrant* is eligible to win one trophy based on the judges’ scoring of the vehicle.  You must be present to win.  The “Best in Show” and “People’s Choice” winning vehicles will be removed from the later categories and cannot win another trophy.  These award-winning vehicles will be removed from their respective model year based categories and cannot win a model year based trophy.  Within the remaining vehicles the highest score in each model year based category will receive a first-place trophy.  The second highest score in each model year based category will receive a second-place trophy.  Awards will go to the next runner up if a participant is not present at the time the awards are presented.

* – Please note that St. John’s Car Show staff members may enter their cars in the show but are not eligible to win a trophy.

Silent Auction Policies

  1.  All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds. All items are “as is.” St. John Catholic Church has attempted to describe items correctly, but neither warrants nor represents, and shall not be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, or condition of the items. No statement made at the auction or elsewhere, shall be deemed such a warranty.
  1.  Payment for items purchased must be made in full on the day of the auction to the cashier. St. John Catholic Church accepts cash, credit card, or a check made payable to St. John Catholic Church. Please allow 45 minutes after the silent auction bidding has closed before reporting to the cashier.
  1.  Following payments, you may pick up your purchases in the checkout area. You must show your paid receipt for items to be picked up. All items purchased must be picked up on the day of the auction before 3:00 P.M.
  2. St. John Catholic Church reserves the right to add or withdraw items without notice, to or from the auction.
  1.  Each person bidding assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items obtained at the auction. Each bidder agrees to hold harmless from any liability arising indirectly from St. John Catholic Church, their elected and appointed officials, members and employees, the event organizers, sponsors, and/or volunteers connected with the auction.
  1.  In order for bids to be valid, a bidder must use their bidder number and all bids must be in the increments denoted on the bid sheet. 
  1.  All decisions by the Action Chair and St. John Catholic Church are final.
  1.  St. John Catholic Church reserves the right to not allow sale of an item should the minimum bid or reserve price not be met.
  2. There will be a surcharge of 4% on all credit card sales.

Bidder Registration

  • All bidders must register and receive a bidder number for use at the silent auction. 
  • If you have registered a car in the show you do not need to register separately for the Silent Auction, your car number is your bidding number (numbers 1-300)
  • If you do not have a car and would like to bid, please register at the silent auction table (numbers 300-600) 
  • All bidders MUST be registered by 12:30 pm in order to bid in the auction. 


There is a 4% added surcharge on all Credit or Debit Card Transactions. 

St. John’s Catholic Church Car Show also accepts payment by Cash or Check.
